Signing In

When you sign in to a BlokSec-protected application, you’ll enter your email address and then approve the request on your phone. There are three ways to receive and approve sign-in requests.

Push notification

Section titled “Push notification”

This is the fastest method. When you start signing in on your computer, your phone receives a push notification.

  1. Enter your email address on the sign-in page
  2. Tap the notification on your phone
  3. Authenticate with Face ID, fingerprint, or your device PIN
  4. You’re signed in

QR code

If you don’t receive a push notification, you can scan a QR code instead.

  1. Enter your email address on the sign-in page
  2. A QR code appears on screen
  3. Open the BlokSec app on your phone
  4. Tap the scan button and point your camera at the QR code
  5. Authenticate with Face ID, fingerprint, or your device PIN
  6. You’re signed in

SMS or email

Section titled “SMS or email”

If you can’t use push notifications or scan a QR code, you can receive a sign-in link by text message or email.

  1. Enter your email address on the sign-in page
  2. Choose Send via SMS or Send via email
  3. Open the text message or email on your phone
  4. Tap the link — it opens the BlokSec app
  5. Authenticate with Face ID, fingerprint, or your device PIN
  6. You’re signed in
