Reset & Delete Account

BlokSec offers two options for clearing your data: resetting the app and deleting your account. They do different things, so it’s important to understand the difference before choosing.

Resetting clears all data from the BlokSec app on your phone — your keys, linked accounts, and settings are removed from the device. However, your account still exists on BlokSec’s servers.

What happens:

  • All local data is erased from your phone
  • Your account on the server is unchanged
  • Your administrator can send you a new invitation to re-link your device
  • You’ll need to go through the setup process again

When to use this:

  • You’re having issues with the app and want a fresh start
  • You want to clear the app before lending or recycling your phone
  • Your administrator asks you to reset as part of troubleshooting

To reset, go to Settings and tap Reset App.

Deleting your account permanently removes everything — both from your phone and from BlokSec’s servers. This is irreversible.

What happens:

  • All local data is erased from your phone
  • Your account is permanently removed from BlokSec’s servers
  • All linked applications are disconnected
  • You’ll need a brand new invitation from your administrator to use BlokSec again

When to use this:

  • You’re leaving your organization
  • You no longer need BlokSec
  • You want to completely remove your data from BlokSec

To delete your account, go to Settings and tap Delete Account.
