Onboarding Walkthrough

When your organization joins BlokSec, you’ll receive a welcome email with everything you need to get started. This guide walks you through the process from that email to your first sign-in.

What you’ll need

  • The welcome email from BlokSec (check your inbox for the subject line “You’re an admin for [Your Organization]”)
  • A smartphone (iOS or Android) to install the BlokSec authenticator app
  • A few minutes to complete the setup

Step 1: Install the authenticator app

Before anything else, install the BlokSec authenticator app on your phone:

  • iPhone: Search for “BlokSec” in the App Store
  • Android: Search for “BlokSec” in Google Play

Step 2: Open the welcome email on your phone

Your welcome email contains a QR code and a “Set Up My Account” button. The easiest approach is to open the email on your phone and tap the button directly — this links your phone to your admin account in one step.

Alternatively, if you’re reading the email on a computer, scan the QR code with the BlokSec app to complete the link.

Step 3: Create your PIN

After tapping the link or scanning the QR code, the app will ask you to create a 6-digit PIN. This PIN is used to approve sign-in requests, so choose something you’ll remember.

You can also enable biometric authentication (Face ID or fingerprint) for faster approvals.

Step 4: Sign in to your admin console

Your welcome email includes a link to your admin console. It looks like this:

  1. Open your admin console URL in a browser
  2. Enter the email address associated with your admin account
  3. Approve the sign-in request on your phone — either tap the push notification or enter your PIN in the app

That’s it. You’re signed in to the BlokSec admin console with passwordless authentication.

What you’ll see

As a new admin, your console dashboard shows your organization’s overview. The sidebar gives you access to:

  • Dashboard — Your organization’s overview with key metrics
  • Applications — The apps connected to BlokSec (just the admin portal for now)
  • Users — Everyone with a BlokSec account in your organization (just you for now)
  • Marketplace — Templates for adding new applications
  • Request Log and API Log — Authentication activity and API calls
